MAYDA SILVIA NADAL FUENTES

Mayda Silvia Nadal Fuentes passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011. She was born on March 4, 1948 in Santiago de Cuba to Jose and Silvia Nadal Lopez. She is survived by her three children, Jorge, Melissa and Jessica Fuentes; two granddaughters, Keila and Chelsea Fuentes; sister, Tania Martinez; and her many "adoptive" children and grandchildren. Mayda loved cooking, entertaining, traveling and taking care of her babies at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church Child Development Center. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 – 6 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations are made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 in memory of Mayda Fuentes.
