MAXINE D. HAIRSTON
Maxine D. Hairston, 91, of Panama City Beach, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 in her home. She was born January 15, 1918 in Kansas and had been a resident of Panama City since 1979. She was a member of the Gulfview United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Carlton "Woody" Hairston. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Reynolds of Springfield, MO. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Interment will be in the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. Those desiring may make a contribution to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Maxine Hairston.
