MAVIS CLAIR NELSON
Mavis Clair Nelson, 89, of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010. She was born January 16, 1921 in Aucilla, Florida. She was a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church and the Fidelas Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lingo Harry Nelson, son, Richard Nelson, son-in-law, Jack McCurley, three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy McCurley; four grandchildren, Keith Perry, Mark McCurley, Alan McCurley, Anita Eckenrode; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Hiland Park Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mavis Nelson.
