Maureen Gartin Henry

Maureen Gartin Henry, 70, of Panama City, FL and Dunbar, WV died Saturday, April 7 at Bay Medical Center.

She was born on August 25, 1936 to Golden (Ob) and Mary Margaret Gartin in Logan, WV. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Robert Thomson and her husband, Joseph Henry. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Bill Lillard of Panama City, FL, her daughter-in-law, Becky Thomson of Charleston, WV, and her special love and partner of many years, Mike Stone, of Dunbar, WV.

Maureen graduated from Sacred Heart Elementary, Charleston Catholic High School, and West Virginia State College. She was a retired Kanawha County probation officer.

A memorial service celebrating Maureen's life will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Bay County Humane Society, 1600 Bay Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Maureen Henry.
