Matthew Gray, age 84, of Wewahitchka, Florida, passed away at his camp at Mossy Pond in Altha, Florida on Friday, March 14, 2014.

He retired after 40 years of employment with St. Joe Paper Mill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Gray; son, Lester Gray; his parents; five sisters and one brother.

He is survived by four sons, Troy Gray of Wewahitchka, Florida, Don (LaDonna) Gray of Panama City, Florida, Willie (Gloria) Gray of Chipley, Florida, Douglas Gray of Deer Point Lake, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and many faithful friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nixon Miller and Don Gray officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Roberts Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida.  Active pallbearers will be Michael Gray, Trampus Gray, Bruce Gray, Jamie Gray, Matthew Gray and Travis Record.

The family will be at the home of Don and LaDonna Gray.
