MARY NELL SCOTT ADAIR
Mary Nell Scott Adair, 81, of Panama City, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in a local nursing facility. She was born October 25, 1925 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She attended the Florida State College for Women and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Panama City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Woodrow Adair, her parents, John & Ezella Scott, a sister, Evelyn Seawright, and a brother, Max Scott. She is survived by a son, Barry Adair of Panama City, a daughter, Sharron Adair of Kingsport, TN, a granddaughter, Julie Adair of Panama City, 2 nieces, Jeannie Warren, Jan Westermark Masseo and a nephew, John Scott. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Scott officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Those desiring may make a contribution to Mathison Employee Fund, 3637 W Hwy 390, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Mary Nell Adair.
