Mary Elizabeth Ross Bell, 102, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born on October 23, 1919 in Chipley, FL. She lived 60 years in Millville, FL before moving to Lynn Haven, FL.  She retired after almost 30 years of working as a salesclerk for J. C. Penny's. She was a member at Immanuel Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Bell; parents, Hazzard and Ruby Ross; siblings, Annie Mae Pope, Alice Laster and Franklin Ross. She is survived by three children, Roy Eugene Bell, Betty Carol Bell, John Michael Bell; two granddaughters, Faith Bell, Deanna Bell Johnson (Jack); three great grandchildren, McKenzie Johnson, Trevor Johnson, Walker Johnson; one sister, Syble Morris; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family would like to thank her caregiver, Linda Coker and Covenant Hospice for their excellent care. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Blake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Millville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice or to Immanuel Baptist Church in memory of Mary Bell.
