Mary Loyce (Lucy) France, 88, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1934 in Panama City, FL to Rev. E A Addison and wife, Clyde. She was a graduate from Bay High School. Mary spent most of her years as a homemaker, raising her three children. She later went on to work for the St. Andrew Bay Center and as a Bus Driver for the Bay Coordinated Transportation. Mary was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Fred France; one son, Darrell France; siblings, Mildred Atkins(Dwayne), Milford Addison and Linda Mead (Ray). Mary is survived by two children, Darla Phillips (Steve), Harold France (Margie); four grandchildren, Kevin Phillips (Katie), Kimberly Phillips, Kylan Phillips, Joshua France; nine great grandchildren, Keaden, Tayley, Reese, Kohl, Braden, Kiersten, Robby, Madison, Hunter; sister, Janice Temples (Ron); sister-in-law, Joyce Addison and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Millville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
