Mary Diggs Franklin, 72, of Panama City, FL passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born on February 10, 1949 in Columbus, GA to Lawrence and Mary Olive Diggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edwin Franklin Jr.;one brother, Danny Diggs and one sister, Kim Diggs. She is survived by three children, Robbie Franklin (Julie), Chris Franklin (Bunny), Justin Franklin (Lisa); eight grandchildren, Brandon, Katie, Lauren, Andrew, Owen, Emma, Robbie, Ashley, great  grandson Bentley; two sisters, Lynn Keefe (Terry), Sissy Darnell (Robert); numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phil Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center, 210 East 11 ^th Street, Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Mary Franklin.
