Mary Sue Ford Corbitt, 100, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. She was born to Joseph Malachi Ford and Ada Mae Bryant Ford in Hartford, Alabama on February 20, 1922. She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters, her husband, Allen T. Corbitt, Sr.; son, Allen T. Corbitt, Jr.; daughter, Mary Kay Potter; grandson, Tommy Phillips, Jr.; son-in-law, Beryl Fields and daughter-in-law, Yvonne Corbitt. She is survived by her daughter, Suellen Fields; five grandchildren, Robie Robinson, Andy Robinson, Ashley Miller, Colleen Kania and Allen Corbitt III. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10 am in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of Sue Corbitt.
