Mary Ann Easom, 86, beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many, of Panama City Beach, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was born December 19, 1929 in Dothan, Alabama to Reuben & Annie Smith Thomley. She had been a resident of Panama City Beach since 1981 moving here from Dothan. She and her husband owned Easom Plumbing Company until she retired at the age of 75. She was a member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church and loved her Friendship class led by Ms. Carrie Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herman Easom, two brothers, Ben Thomley, J.D. Thomley and a sister, Juanita Snellgrove. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Easom of Panama City Beach; Sandy Easom Parker (Jonathan) of Newnan, GA; grandson, Grayson Parker; sister, Ann Kirkland (Hollis) and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the St. Andrew Baptist Church with Rev. Doug White officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2-3 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the St. Andrew Baptist Church or to Covenant Hospice in memory of Mary Ann Easom.
