MARY DEVUYST

Mary DeVuyst, 88, of Panama City, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at a local nursing home. She was born on June 14, 1918 in Garfield, New Jersey. She had been a resident of Panama City for the past 15 years moving from Fair Lawn, New Jersey. She volunteered at the Bay County Council on Aging and was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, the Silver Liners, and the Elite Dance Club. She was a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church. Mrs. DeVuyst was preceded in death by her husband, Jules DeVuyst. She is survived by 2 daughters, Juliette Josten and her husband Bruce of Lynn Haven, FL, and Marilyn Clemence and her husband Robert of Haymarket, VA, 6 grandchildren, Dale Clemence, Robbie Clemence, Betsy Clemence, Chris Josten, Brad Josten, and Jennifer Josten, and 4 brothers, George Olasin, Daniel Olasin and his wife Betty, Frank Olasin and his wife Irena, and John Olasin. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wave officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the George Washington Cemetery, Paramas, New Jersey. Those desiring may make a contribution to the St. Andrew Episcopal Church in memory of Mary DeVuyst.
