MARY GRANT GRACE COLE

Mary Grant Grace Cole passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Lisenby Skilled Nursing in Panama City, Fl. She would have celebrated her 92nd birthday on December 10, 2006. She was born in 1914 in Graceville, FL to Joel William and Carle Lee Hutto Grant and was one of seven children all of whom predeceased her. She lived for many years in Panama City and was employed by Moon Jewelry.

She later moved to Orlando where she was employed by Jordan Marsh. She loved her home, yard and especially her wonderful neighbors who were so good and kind to her and enabled her to stay in her home until she was 90 years old. The family will always be grateful for their many kindnesses through the years.

For the past two years she had lived at Mathison Retirement Center and was able to enjoy being with her daughter, Joel Grace Leuenberger and husband George. Other survivors are her grandsons, Brian Vause of Orlando, Dayton Vause and wife, Penny of Panama City, and Evan Vause and wife, Stephanie of Henderson, NV, and one great grandson, Chandler Vause of Panama City. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Grant of Panama City, two nieces, Sylvia Grant Cody and husband, Robert of Orlando and Debbie Grant Adams and husband Jerry of Sugarland, Tx. And two nephews, Carl Jones and wife, Nancy of Salem, OR. And Jack Grant of Atlanta, GA.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Lisenby Skilled Nursing Facility for the most wonderful loving care.
