MARY OPAL COCHRAN

Mary Opal Cochran, 93, of Lynn Haven, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010. She was born January 26, 1917 in Houston County, Alabama. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Callaway for over 50 years and the Eastern Star of Parker. She also was a volunteer for Bay Medical Center. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lewis G. Kirkland, Wade Cochran; son, Lewis W. Kirkland and son-in-law, Harold J. Walden. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Walden; three grandchildren, Hal Walden and wife, Debbie, Lisa Vogler and husband Ralph, Jerry Walden; five great grandchildren, Tiffany Batyski and husband Mike, Natalie Vogler, Michael Vogler, Kathleen Vogler, Emily Vogler; two great great grandchildren, Ellie Marie Batyski, Carleigh Vogler and brother, Foy Woodham and wife, Isophene. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 – 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Mary Cochran. The family wishes to send a special thank you to all the staff of St. Andrew Bay Skilled Nursing Home for their love and honor for the past years.
