MARY HAZEL ARMSTRONG EWING
Mary Hazel Armstrong Ewing, of Boynton Beach, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008. She was born May 8, 1927 in Enterprise, Alabama. She had been a resident of Panama City from 1946 – 1990 before moving to South Florida. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City and numerous civic organizations. She was former owner of Armstrong Diamond and Bride Shop and Hazel's Jewelry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Eugene "Gene" Armstrong and granddaughter, Vicki Weaver. She is survived by her husband, Harold "Hal" Ewing, of Boynton Beach, son, Larry Armstrong and wife Amy, of Panama City, two daughters, Linda Johnson and husband Greg of Port St. Joe, FL, Kathy Weaver, of Brooksville, FL, six grandchildren, Chris Weaver and wife Elaina, Parker Armstrong and wife Kelley, Nicholas Armstrong, Courtney Clemens, Gena Johnson, Carly Pickels and husband Bobby, four great grandchildren, Kyser Clemens, Chase Lanford, Luke Pickels and Hannah Weaver. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Hazel Armstrong Ewing.
