Marvell Rogers Carter Taylor, 96, of Panama City, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019. She was born December 14, 1922 in Wausau, Florida. She was retired receiving manager for Sears. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Allen & Mollie Rogers; her husbands, Paul Carter, Alex Taylor; six brothers, Allen, Arthur, Clark, Lewis, Leo, Howard and a son-in-law, Al Sexton. She is survived by a son, Wayne Carter (Cathy); daughter, Wyvon Sexton; stepson, Gerald Taylor (Mary); six grandchildren, Connie Sparks (John), Roger Sexton, Randall, Robert (Ann Marie) & Mark Weston, Laura Myers (Fred); seven great grandchildren, Lindsey Miller (Caleb), Tanner Sparks, Dean, Haley & Hunter Weston, Elizabeth & Carter Myers one great great granddaughter, Mollie Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger D. Hagan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Wausau Cemetery, Wausau, FL.
