MARTIN "MARTY" MILLER
Martin "Marty" Miller, 73, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014. He was born January 7, 1941 in Madrid, Nebraska. He was the owner and operator of Miller Pulpwood Company and the Blue Diamond Truck Accessory Shop. He also retired from Ryan-Walsh Stevedoring Company. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to laugh and enjoy life. Marty also became a Christian and tremendously loved his church. He was preceded in death by both parents, Jim & Unice Miller, one granddaughter, Melanie Miller, and brother, Beryl James Miller. He is survived by his wife, Joan Miller; two sons, Keith Miller (Nicole), Beryl Miller (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Brian J. Miller, Brandyn Miller, Lacy Miller, Nathan Harrison (Kaila); two brothers, Irvin Miller (Emma), Michael Miller (Pam); and sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 – 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Calvary Christian Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Callaway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Calvary Christian Baptist Church, 5515 Titus Road, Callaway, FL 32404 in memory of Marty Miller.
