Mart Yates, 91, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born October 1, 1929 in Colquitt, Georgia to Son & Mattie Yates.  He served as a paratrooper in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a sales manager for Hawkins Auto Wrecking for 40 years and then LKQ Automotive for 10 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.  He is survived by three children, Cynthia Wheeler, Phillip Yates, Joseph Yates (Bonnie), five grandchildren, Ashley Wheeler Nichols (Jody), Danielle Yates, Korey Hall (Angie), Morgan Yates, Haley Yates; three great grandchildren, Sophia Yates, Millie Hall, Elizabeth Nichols and former wife, Yvonne Yates.  A private family graveside service will be held in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date.  He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and loved ones.
