Marjorie Priehs Smith, 83, of Panama City, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in her home. She was born in Miami, Florida and raised on her family's farm in Macon County, Georgia. Mimi was quite simply one of God's most good creations. She was loved and will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know her. She was totally connected and fascinated with all the beautiful gifts of nature, as she was a beautiful gift to us all. She was involved in the Van Kleeck Co and Tidewater Deli with her family most of her adult life. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Natt Smith (Joyce), Gary Smith, Donna Burt (Scott); six grandchildren, Will Smith, Matthew Smith, Julie Smith, Trey Smith, Carrie Cain, Jeff Burt; and three great grandchildren, Kenan Cain, Jude Cain and Aiden Cain. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Gap Pond Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunnyhills, FL with Rev. Bob Hayes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Marjorie Smith.
