Marjorie H. Parmer, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014. She was born on November 25, 1947 in Enterprise, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in elementary education. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at Hiland Park and Patterson Elementary Schools. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Hildreth; step father, Earl Urschel and mother-in-law, Florel Parmer. She is survived by her husband, Donald Parmer; daughter, Kellie Bazemore; son, Greg Parmer; three grandchildren, Eugene Bazemore III, Lyndon Parmer, Samuel Parmer; mother, Betty Hildreth Urschel; two brothers, Billy Hildreth (Gail), James Hildreth (Pat); sister-in-law, Patsy Wells (Danny); five nieces, Hannah Mahe, Claire Hildreth, Christina Hildreth, Danielle Jacobson, Debbie Voce; one nephew, Greg Hildreth; and very special friends, Gwen & Jack Lundgard, Joann & Charlie Gramling, Julia McArthur and Earl & Corrie Paramore. A heartful thank you to Dr. Mahmood and his very special staff of nurses that held much love in her heart. A memorial candlelight service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 – 4 p.m. prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Dr, Tampa, FL 33612 in memory of Marjorie Parmer. Marjorie was a beautiful person, mother, wife, daughter, teacher and friend. Her unwavering devotion to her family was her main priority. She will be deeply missed by her family and our world and life will never be the same. May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus.
