MARISE MAULDIN BOYLE
Marise Mauldin Boyle, 91, of Panama City, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at a local hospital. Marise was born in Birmingham, Ala., but grew up in the small, central Florida town of Brewster, which no longer exists. She attended the University of Alabama, where she met her husband, the late William J. Boyle, and graduated in 1942 with a degree in Accounting. Mrs. Boyle worked as an accountant at Brewton Materials Company, Tyndall Air Force Base, and for many years at the U. S Navy Coastal Systems Station (now Naval Support Activity) until her retirement in 1987. She was a long-time member of the Junior Service League and, with her husband Bill, of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club.
Mrs. Boyle was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years; a son, Robert Kingsley Boyle; and brother, James Mauldin. She is survived by a son, William J. Boyle, Jr. and wife Karen Thompson and grandson, Alex Boyle of Warren, N.J.; daughter-in-law, Dottie Lou Galloway; grandchildren, Kingsley and Scott, all of Pensacola, Fla., and granddaughter, Jeanne, of Atlanta, Ga., and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Barbara Mauldin of Lynn Haven; nieces, Marise and Lori, and four great nieces. The memorial service for Marise will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Margaret Shepard at St. Andrews Episcopal Church on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. with arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home.
