It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Joan Moser, beloved mother and grandmother, on September 30, 2023 at the age of 92 in Lynn Haven, Florida. Marie was known for her cheerful and generous nature, always looking for a way to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially those from her ladies group. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Armand and Irene Ruest. Marie graduated from Holten High School in Danvers in 1949 and worked in radar tube manufacturing. In 1952, Marie joined the WACS and married the love of her life, Bill Moser. Together, they traveled the globe with the Air Force and raised five children. Marie enjoyed her volunteer work, especially her time working in the Tyndall Library where she was named Volunteer of the Year in 1979. After Bill passed in 2012, she settled in Lynn Haven, where she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and reading.
Marie is survived by four daughters: Chris Blankenbeckler, Nancy (Marty) Roesle, Gail (Azeddine) Zerrade, and Karen(Chris) Anderson. She is also survived by one brother, John Ruest, her daughter-in-law, Brenda Moser, as well as twelve grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her son Bill, her parents, and her brother Richard Ruest. The kindness and generosity of our friends and neighbors has been a great comfort to the family. We would like to thank the office of Dr. Maria Parris-Ramie and the Emerald Coast Hospice team for their compassionate care. At Marie's request, no funeral services are planned
