Marguerite Davis Ward
Marguerite Davis Ward was born on November 26, 1921 and left this earth December 16, 2011. She filled every life she touched with joy. Along with her sisters, Eloise Davis Perkins and Virginia Davis, she sang with the popular trio The Davis Sisters. A proud veteran of World War 2, she honored her country by serving in the Navy Waves. She was predeceased by her two sisters, her brother, David Tinsley Davis and her husband, Bill Ward. She is survived by her son, Bill Ward of Houston, TX; and her two special nieces, Virginia Perkins Holmes and Kathy Perkins Smith from Lynn Haven. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, 4501 Transmitter Road. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 - 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church Building Fund.
