Margie Sullivan Brock

(1923-2012)

Margie Sullivan Brock completed her worldly journey on Sunday, February 5, 2012. She was born June 24, 1923 in Altha, Florida to John and Amy Sullivan. She was a graduate of the class of 1941, Altha High School. She is survived by her two children, Thomas Cornel (Brenda) and Ami Fulton Gast (Greg), Six grandchildren, Ken Brock, Scott Sullivan, Mari Krahl (Dave), Brian Sullivan (Jennifer), Julie Eppler (Aaron) and Derek Marane. Eight great grandchildren, Richard Brock Knipfer, Austin Brock Sullivan, Emma Grace Brock, Martha Allison Brock, Patrick James Knipfer, Amanda Brooke Sullivan, Emma Grace Sullivan and Jackson Russ Eppler. Two sisters, Hilda Westmoreland (J.D) and Marilyn Wright (Tom).
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tommy Brock; her parents, John and Amy Sullivan; brother, John Herman Sullivan and a sister, Helen Martin. She has been a resident of Panama City, FL for 62 years. She retired from the Naval Coastal Systems Station after a distinguished career of 22 years. She was a long time member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and a member of the Olive Branch Sunday School Class. Her favorite past time was playing bridge with several local groups.
The family will be receiving friends and family at Ami S Fulton Gast's home.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9th, at 1:00pm, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, Altha, Florida at 3:00 pm.
