Margaret Katherine Weaver

It was Friday, June 1st, 2007.... but Sunday's a coming. And it was a good Friday, a very good Friday... Margaret Weaver finally fulfilled her purpose here on earth and went to live forever with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. How could it get any better than that? Yes, now Margaret is with her beloved husband, Robert Pitser Weaver, her precious mom, Annie Laurie Bibb, her biggest fan & daughter Barbara K. Lacy plus many Christian family members and friends.

Margaret was born March 29, 1921 to Fred and Annie Laurie Bibb in Asheville, N.C. She met that "good looking fly boy" Robert Pitser, during World War II while volunteering as a nurse ... and the fairy tale life began. Their marriage was a blessing from God. Never once did we ever see our parents argue...it was a life-long love story. He flew planes, she stayed at home and raised 5 kids that absolutely adored her!!!

Margaret was a born-again Christian and attended Forest Park United Methodist Church since moving here from Clarksville, Tenn. in 1986. She loved the Lord, her Sunday School class and her incredible church family. Margaret was one of the original members of PAWS (Pets Are Working Saints) and loved to visit nursing homes with her dogs P-head, Nikka, and Little Bit. And just for the record...if there is cooking in heaven, Jesus is in for some "killer macaroni and cheese."

Margaret is survived by her daughter Robin Morrison and son-in law Bubba, daughter Laurie Sue Colvin and son-in-law Chuck, son bobby weaver, daughter-in-law Vicki, granddaughters Brandy and Danielle, all of Panama City and Marlenna of Orlando. Also, son James F. Weaver and daughter-in-law Flora, grandson Robert Pitser of Spokane, WA. and son-in-law Curtis A. Lacy of Tacoma, WA.

In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Covenant Hospice of Panama City, FL. The family will receive friends Monday night, June 4th, from 6pm til 7pm at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service with be held Tuesday, June 5th, 1pm at Forest Park United Methodist Church with mama's favorite two pastors in the world...Dr. John Friedman and Rev. Tom Tillery. A grave side service at Kent Forest Lawn Cemetery will follow.
