Margaret Warnberg

1958 - 2011

Margaret Warnberg, 53, of Lynn Haven, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Margaret was born April 12, 1958, in Dothan, Alabama. Her father was a career Army officer so she moved often. She lived in Columbus, GA, Ft Bragg, NC, Overland Park, KS, Annandale, VA, and Richfield, MN. She also lived overseas in Germany, Republic of Panama, and The Panama Canal Zone. She resided in Lynn Haven, FL, since 1983.

Margaret attended Special Education classes completing her schooling in Richfield, MN. She worked in sheltered workshops where she lived and most recently at St Andrew Bay Center in Lynn Haven. Through the placement network she did volunteer work at Catholic Charities and Agency for People with Disabilities. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and weaving baskets.

She is survived by her parents, Harry and Emily Warnberg, of Lynn Haven, FL; sister, Charlotte Moreau, of Lynn Haven, FL; brother, Charles Warnberg, of Little Falls, MN; and a foster brother, Paul Fortune, of Buckhead, GA; nephews, Hasten Warnberg, Seth Moreau and Cole Moreau; aunts, India Belisle and Paula Jane Pettit, of Panama City and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Messiah Lutheran Church on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Memorialization will be by cremation. Her ashes will be interred in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Abbeville, AL, at a later date.
