Margaret Baker Lee, 93, of Panama City, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017. She was born November 25, 1923 in St. Andrews, Florida to Henry H. & Jane Baker. She was a 1941 graduate of Bay High School and attended Florida State College for Women (Florida State University). Margaret worked in the Money order and finance department for the United States Postal Service. After her marriage to Bill, they opened Lee's Nursery in Panama City. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Henry Lee Baker and a sister, Betty Breland. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William "Bill" Lee; two daughters, Sara Burks ( Wendell); Kathryn Gist (John); four grandchildren, Andrew Burks (Lynne), Harrison Burks, Conner Burks, Gregory Gist; two sisters-in-law, Aimee Jo Nelson, Anne Herner (Don) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Wendell Burks, John Gist, Andrew Burks, Harrison Burks, Conner Burks, Gregory Gist and Henry Breland.
