Margaret Ann Kelley (Peggy), 81, passed away on June 5, 2023.  Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was born in a turpentine shack on 1510 Hickory ave. in St Andrews, Florida to Arnold and Maggie Bell Peel.  She met the love of her life in St. Andrews, Buddy Kelley, in 1957 and they married and lived in Bay View Heights for 65 years together.   Peggy had a passion for her three sons and for her church.  She attended St. Andrews Assembly of God faithfully her entire life.  She did everything in the church in those 81 years from teaching Sunday school to even being the youth pastor.  Her success in life was not money or fame but seeing people serve God and making sure her three sons were healthy and successful.  She was a terrific cook and could bake any kind of cake for any occasion.  She was also good at sewing and floral design.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Maggie Bell Peel, her sisters Shasta McCarthy and Faith Morris.  She is survived by her husband Buddy Kelley, her three sons Tim Kelley (Michele), Mark Kelley (Denise) and  Benjamin Kelley, her sister Dianna Fields, her two grandchildren Carlee Rosie and Carson Kelley and two great grandchildren Lydia and Thomas Rosie, her sister-in-law and best friend Charlene Lewis plus numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on June 9 at Wilson Funeral Home from 5-7pm.  The service will be on Sunday June 11 at 3:30 PM at St. Andrews Assembly of God followed by graveside at Greenwood cemetery.  A special thanks to Heather and Kelly with Covenant Hospice.
