MANUEL "MANNY" ENOS
Manuel "Manny" Enos, 66, of Lynn Haven, Florida, passed away early in the morning on February 11, 2013 at Covenant Hospice Care Center after a fight with cancer. He was born June 4, 1946 in Providence, Rhode Island and had been a resident of Panama City for 26 years.
Manny was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Zermira Enos; and sister, Ann Marie Bausch. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Taylor Enos; two children, Cathy Dement and husband Allen, Robert Enos and wife Chandra; four grandchildren, Joshua Dement, and Samuel, Matthew, and Noah Enos; brother, Ron Enos; sister, June Enos; nephews, Justin Enos, Jeff Bausch and wife Joan, Todd Bausch and wife Jpen, and a niece, Jennifer Enos.
After retiring as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Manny retired from Tyndall Elementary School where he was the manager of food services. He was a member of the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church where he participated with the youth group and went on many mission trips. Throughout his life, he played, coached, and officiated a variety of sports. He also served as a supportive father and assistant scout master for the Boy Scouts.
Anyone who knew Manny knows that he was a friend to all. He never met a stranger. He was a genuine, loving, and kind person and a dedicated and caring husband and father.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church Mission Fund or to the Panama City Rescue Mission in memory of Manny Enos.
