MAMIE LUCILE SANDERS
Mamie Lucile Sanders, 95, of Panama City, died April 27, 2007 in her home. She was born October 1, 1911 to Albert Lee and Ima Laura Angle Lindsey. She married Willie Lee "Bill" Sanders on January 17, 1930. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1935, moving here from DeFuniak Springs. She and her husband owned Sanders Curb Market. She was a member of the Callaway Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, infant daughter, Billie Iris Sanders, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Thompson and husband Tommy, Shirley Davis and husband Phil, both of Panama City, 9 grandchildren, Lynne Mincey and husband Phillip, Beth Coleman and husband Billy, Kellie Harrison and husband Petr, Larry Thompson and wife Lori, Kay Dove, Tommy Thompson and wife Leanne, Kim Davis, Kevin Davis and wife Sonya, Kegan Davis, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Callaway Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Hallett officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Larry Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Kevin Davis, Kegan Davis, Michael Dawson and Phillip Mincey Jr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Those desiring to may make a contribution to Covenant Hospice, 107 West 19th Street, Panama City, Florida 32405 in memory of Mamie Lucile Sanders.
