MAMIE MILDRED HALL MAULDIN
Mamie Mildred Hall Mauldin, 84, of Panama City, FL, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 11, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1923 in Williston, FL, to Joel Thomas & Lulu Elizabeth Lynn Hall. She married James Clyde Mauldin on June 6, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clyde Mauldin, daughter, Barbara Jean Wilson, son, James Clyde Mauldin Jr. and 2 sisters, Audrey Sapp and Lula Addison. She was a member of the Lynn Haven Baptist Church. She was a strong woman who dealt with what life had to offer. She loved painting, gardening, crafts and sewing. Her last 6 years were spent in a wheelchair in a nursing home. She accepted her visits with grace and though they were never long enough for her ,she was gracious and understanding. She is survived by 4 daughters, Judy Ruff and husband, Joe of Panama City; Linda Simmons and companion Jorge of Modesto, CA; Carol Curington of Viera, FL; Louise Castillo and husband, Tom of San Antonio, TX, 2 sisters, Mae Hunsucker of Tampa, FL; Aldonia Williams of Orlando, FL; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14 at 2 p.m. EDT in the First Baptist Church of Williston. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2 p.m. EDT Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Stephen Ruff, Jeff Ruff, Keith Mauldin, Kevin Mauldin, Frank Curington, and Rob Holley.
