Maldra Jo Kelly McQuagge of Panama City passed away on July 29, 2021 at 6:21 pm.

Jo was born December 29, 1935 in Altha, Florida and moved from Blountstown, Florida to Panama City in 1943.

She attended Drummond Park Elementary School and Bay High School, graduating in 1953.

She was a majorette in the Bay High Band, member of the order of Rainbow for Girls, member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church where she was active in Rebekah Circle, member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class and a member of the Chancel Choir.

She was employed by International Paper Company in 1956 and retired after 45 years from Smurfit Stone in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leonard Kelly and Maldra Richards Kelly and her sister, Patricia Diamond of Panama City.

She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Louise Louise McQuagge of Virginia Beach, VA; her son, Jay Leonard McQuagge and wife, Jennifer of Panama City; granddaughter, Haley Michael McQuagge of Panama City; number nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the St. Andrew United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church memorial fund in memory of Jo McQuagge.
