Lynwood Alton "Al" Viverette, 81, of Southport, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 in his home. He was born September 30, 1938 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Jacob Paul Viverette and Lynda Adams Viverette. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He worked as a civil service electrician at Tyndall Air Force Base. He was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Lyn Allison Viverette and Rusty Viverette. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Bryan Viverette; two children, Ashley Dillahey (Chris), Desiree Love; three grandchildren, Christian Matthew Dillahey, Caitie Dillahey, Lauren Elizabeth Burr; two great grandchildren, Riley Barr, Ryan Barr; two brothers, Donnie Viverette, Mickey Viverette; sister, Hazel Pittman (Charles) and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Active pallbearers are Chris Dillahey, Dennis Faulkenberry, Jason Creamer, Bill Shields, Pete Stanley and Wayne Earl Goodwin. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Project 25 c/o Bay County Sheriff's Department, 3421 N. Hwy 77, Panama City, FL 32405 Attn: Becky Johns.
