Lynda Tidwell Tharp, born November 22, 1947, in Dothan, Alabama, passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 74.  She has been a member of Springfield Community Church since 1952.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Rev. Robert E. Tharp; her brother, Ronnie Tidwell (Barbara) of Panama City and her sister, Jennifer DuBose (Danny) of Atlanta; five nephews, Tommy Tidwell, Brandon DuBose, Kelsey Tharp (Maria), Brent Pettis (Casey), Clint Pettis (Crystal) and two nieces, Candace Tharp and Faith Tharp. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Tidwell; and her father, W.T. "Tommy" Tidwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Springfield Community Church with Pastor Eddie Pitts, Rev. Jon Hall and Rev. Clyde Tucker officiating.  Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. prior to the service.  Internment will follow at Callaway Cemetery.
