LUCILLE H SKIPPER

Lucille H Skipper, 76, of Panama City, passed away May 2, 2010 in her home. She was born April 24, 1934 in New Braunfels, Texas. Mrs. Skipper was a faithful member and minister's wife of the Cherry Street Church of Christ in Panama City, Florida. She enjoyed singing and telling jokes at the Music Barn in the Sand Hills. She was a factory worker for 20 years in Texas and Florida. She had been a resident of Panama City for over 50 years. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for the church "dinner on the grounds." She raised 3 children, had 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and was a loving wife. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Skipper Sr.; son, Thomas Skipper Jr. and wife Melissa, son, David Skipper and wife, Patrina, daughter, Patricia Braford and husband, Jim; 12 grandchildren, Chase Bain, John Skipper Lithgow, Kristi Skipper, Corey Skipper, Patrick Skipper, Trey Ramey, Vaneesa Ramey, Adam Hutchins, Brent Jones, Amber Jones, Angie Tuell and Joy Clark; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Milda Schneider and husband Eldred; brother-in-law, James Skipper and wife Maureen; and sister-in-law, Polly Bullen and companion, James Phillips. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Reese officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m.
