LOYD EDWARD WARREN
Loyd Edward Warren, 88, of Panama City, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in his home. He was born January 30, 1925 in Goldonna, Louisiana to Lewis & Mollie Warren. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a supervisor for International Paper Company, retiring in the early 1990's after working there for over 40 years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James Warren and Doug Warren. He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Ellis Warren; two daughters, Diane Coleman (Merrell), Linda Warren; four grandchildren, David Coleman (Jenny), Traci Coleman (Devin), Rev. John Coleman (Ellen), Nathan Coleman; four great grandchildren, Andrew Coleman, Meagan Coleman, Samuel Coleman, Ilan Beaver; two brothers, R. C. Warren (Ingrid), Ray Warren; sister, Annie Lou Koesy (Cal), two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Warren, Jeannie Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Jones and Rev. John Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
