LOYCE TURNER BASS
Loyce Turner Bass, 83, of Panama City, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2012 at her home. She was born August 18, 1928 in Geneva County, Alabama. Loyce retired from Boyd Brothers after more than 30 years of service. She was a member of Emerald Coast Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bass. She is survived by her three children, Quinette Harbin (Buford), Cathy Davis (Terry), Stephen Bass (Keely); five grandchildren, Dr. Sara Harbin, Benjamin Harbin (Addison), Susan Harbin, Nathan Davis, Aaron Sanders; two great grandchildren, Virginia Olivera, Margaret Olivera; one sister, Jean Strickland; two brothers, Paul Turner, James Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Emerald Coast Fellowship. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emerald Coast Fellowship, 4102 W Highway 390, Lynn Haven, FL 32444; the American Cancer Society, 4001 W 23rd Street, Suite C, Panama City, FL 32405 or to a charity of your choice in memory of Loyce Bass. Active pallbearers will be Buford Harbin, Terry Davis, Ben Harbin, Nathan Davis, Aaron Sanders and Buddy Rehberg.
