Lionel Wayne Forrest
Lionel Wayne Forrest, 66, passed away peacefully, February 15th, after a long illness. He was born in Bedford, In., on February 9, 1947 to the late Dan and Bertha Forrest.
He was a graduate of Indiana University, and a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Wayne owned and operated Waymar Services Inc. in Bay County for over 15 years.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, of 22 years, Marie Lisenby Forrest, a step-son, Gene Bazemore, Jr., wife Lynn, and family, of Cos Cob, CT. , three brothers, David Forrest, (Kate), Franklin, TN., Richard Forrest (Sandy), Citrus Heights, CA., and Don Forrest (Sandy), Floyd Knob, IN. He also survived by his sister-in-law, Ann Lisenby Parmer, many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Jim and Karen Lewis, of Ft. White, Florida.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Chuck Parmer, for always being there, Andy Lee, Ann Murray, and Willie Butler, for their special caring of Wayne and a special thank you to Covenant hospice for their excellent care.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at their home from 2 – 3 pm on Sunday, February 17. A memorial service will follow at the home at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Covenant Hospice of Panama City, or your favorite charity in memory of Wayne.
