Linda Carole Wilkerson Wallis, age 71, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020. Linda was born in Defuniak Springs, FL on June 16, 1948.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Wayne Wallis and her parents Ocelar and Ella Wilkerson. She is survived by her son, Theron (wife Paige and children, Sylvie and Julian); son, Chad (wife Lindsey and children, Carmine and Kalea); sister and best friend, Barbara Wilkerson Luick; longtime companion, Perry Prue; her Iowa family; and many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Linda (also known to family as Winnie, Grandma, and Meemaw) will be remembered for her deep love for her family and friends, putting others first, always having an open door (especially to her Iowa family), and her famous chocolate chip cookies and boiled peanuts. She will be greatly missed.
