LILLIAN INEZ MCCLELLAN JONES

Lillian Inez McClellan Jones, 79, passed away in a local nursing home on January 8, 2007. She was born in Chattahoochee, FL and moved to Panama City in 1944. Inez graduated from Bay High School and attended Florida State Women's College. She was a homemaker and served as secretary/treasurer of her children's PTA for several years and was also active in the Junior Women's Club, the Women's Club, and the Elks Club. She later became a CNA and provided loving care to all her patients. Inez loved Bingo, going to Biloxi and watching movies on Lifetime with her dog, Mai Ling. Inez was predeceased in death by her loving parents Roy and Sallie McClellan. She leaves behind her loving children and their spouses: Deborah Wilkinson Davis and Ray, Karen Wilkinson Vaughn and Mark, Janice Wilkinson Mikula and Greg, all of Panama City, FL, Dennis Michael Wilkinson and Jackie of Niceville, FL, and Scott Klein of Spartanburg, S.C. Inez also leaves behind her loving grandchildren: Michele Trivett Wegman, Larry P. Salares, Raymond P. Davis, III, Brent Michael Davis, Kimberly Cummings, Dennis Michael Wilkinson, Jr., Anthony Wilkinson, Brandon Klein, and Jesse C. Vaughn. She also leaves behind her much loved great-grandchildren: Alex Baughman, Christian Salares, Shelbie Cummings, Keegan Trivett, Jacob and Noah Davis. She is also survived by one sister, Hazel Pope of Panama City, FL and one brother, Pete McClellan of Jacksonville, FL, three nieces and one nephew. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405.
