LELAND FRANKLIN WARREN
Leland Franklin Warren, 75, of Springfield, died Thursday, October 16, 2008. He was born August 23, 1933 in Sunflower, Mississippi. He was a member of the Howard Creek Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign War. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years retiring at the rank of Technical Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work as an oiler for International Paper Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and loving fishing. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Annie Marjorie Warren, son, John Warren and wife Lisa, six grandchildren, Chase Warren, Juston Warren, Destiny Warren, Ashlynn Warren, Scott Bland, Cody Bland, mother-in-law, Cornelia "Ma Maw" Cozart, brothers and sisters-in law, Doris and Stewart Brumfield, Evelyn and Ray Wimberly, Jerry Cozart, Noel and Bobbie Cozart, special nieces and nephews, Tiffany Sadler, Lindsey Sadler, Cindy and Mike Mathews, Melissa Sims and his two favorite doggies, Lucky and Rascal. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Sutherland officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 2012-A Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405 or the Springfield Baptist Church, 3615 E 3rd Street, Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Leland Warren.
