Leigh Corley, 48, of Chipley, FL passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was born on December 8, 1975 in Panama City, FL to Roger and Bobbie Brannon. She worked as a school teacher for 26 years. Leigh was preceded in death by her grandfather, David L. Jackson and grandmother Dottie Jackson.  She is survived by her husband, Jerry Corley; daughter Clara Corley, Step Daughter Jaycie Morrell (Brantley), Step Sons Cameron Corley and Jack Corley, her parents, Roger and Bobbie Brannon; Brother Alan Brannon (Lesley), niece Hailey Brannon and nephews Garrett Brannon and Hank Brannon.

Leigh accepted Jesus as her Savior at 8 years of age.  She spent the next 40 years following her Lord in Faith and Worship.  She was the perfect example of having Fatih.  From an early age Leigh knew she wanted to be a teacher.  She received an Elementary Education degree and Master's Degree from FSU.  She loved teaching and watching the excitement of her students learning.   Leigh loved her family.  Family was very important to her.  She loved sunset walks on the beach, fishing on the river and road trips to explore God's beauty.  She cherished and adored her daughter, Clara.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11 am at the Sand Hills Assembly of God Church with Brother Nixon Miller and Brother Hayward Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10-11 am prior to the service.  A private family interment will be held in the Southport Memorial Gardens.
