LeeAnn Troxel Davis, 61, of Lynn Haven, FL went to her heavenly home Wednesday, March 9, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. LeeAnn was the lighthouse for her family. She loved life and lived every moment with gratitude and grace. She gave selflessly to others and was a nurturer by nature. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandson, Walker Morris, who was the light of her life. Her hobbies were vast in nature, from gardening, reading, fishing, crocheting, taking long walks with her fur baby, Houdini, to writing a book and cooking. LeeAnn was preceded in death by her father, Garland James Troxel; mother, Shirley Ann Hackenberg Bishop; the father of her children, Kenneth Davis; paternal grandmother, Lucille Troxel; paternal grandpa, Lynn Troxel; maternal grandmother, Dorthy Hackenberg; maternal grandpa, Walter Hackenberg. Left to cherish her memory and lifetime of love are, her daughters, Kim Morris (Chris) of Chipley, FL and Tara Davis of Pataskala, Ohio. Her grandson, Walker Morris; sisters, Jody Kemper, Jamie Russell (Ron), Kim Edelen; brother, Brett Troxel (Aurea) of Oahu, Hawaii; step-mother, Nancy Troxel; numerous nieces and nephews; and lots of friends including her Capt. Andersons family of 20 years. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 13 from 2-4 pm.
