Larry Bruce Villars, 82, of Lynn Haven, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, March 4, 2023.   He was born May 19, 1940 in Wilmington, Ohio.

He honorably served in the United States Army Reserves for six years, retired engineer for AT&T, a member of the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church and had a heart to serve others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger & Betty Villars and a brother, Roger Gordon Villars.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Janice Villars; two children, Janet Smith (George), David Villars (Michelle); six grandsons, Levi Villars (Zoe), Matthew Smith (Shannon), Joshua Villars (Emma), Caleb Villars (Briana), Adam Smith, Andrew Villars; and a sister-in-law, Mary Beth Hester (Phillip).

Private family graveside services were held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Dr. Doug Pennington officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to: Taunton Family Children's Home, PO Box 870, Wewahitchka, FL 32465
