Larry W. McNeil, 74, of Panama City, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Larry was born on February 4, 1945 in Panama City, FL. He attended St. Andrews Elementary School, Jinks Junior High School, and was a 1963 graduate of Bay High School. He was a gifted and blessed man with the ability to have many occupations: motorcycle mechanic, wood-working, welder, and he designed and built the boat, "Sea Dragon". Always busy and looking forward to his next project. He was a faithful member of Springfield Community Church. Predeceased by his parents, Willie M. and Julia Mae McNeil; two brothers, Walter F. McNeil and Julian Ray McNeil. Those left to cherish his memory includes his wife, Linda W. McNeil; brother, Bill McNeil (Carla); sisters, Shirley McNeil, Brenda McNeil and Becky Cobb; mother-in-law, Winifred C. Whitfield; sister-in-law, Joanie Evans (Bill); brothers-in-law, Doug Whitfield (Pam Martin), Preston Whitfield (Quin); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also his four-legged furry friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday March 15, 2019 at 10:30 am at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eddie Pitts officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at Wilson Funeral Home from 9-10 am prior to the graveside.
