Lani went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2014. She was born to Roger and Sally Johnson on January 22, 1965 in Panama City. She lived here almost all her life. She graduated from Mosley High School and Gulf Coast Community College. She also attended Florida State University. She worked various hospitality jobs until her health failed.

Lani was a very strong and independent person, but also one of the most generous, loving, and caring people ever.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Paul Johnson and Karl Gotshall; and her cousin, Eric Ansley.

She is survived by her parents, Roger and Sally Johnson of Lynn Haven; brother, Kirk Johnson of Pearland, TX; sister, Mai Weber (Jay) of Lynn Haven; aunts, Paula Johnson of Fairfax, VA, Lindsay Gotshall of Panama City, Celia Ansley (James) of Brevard, NC; uncles, David Johnson (Pam) of Collierville, TN, Jay Johnson (Anne) of Oxford, MS; and numerous cousins.

Memorialization will be by cremation. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 19th at 11:00 AM at Lynn Haven United Methodist on Transmitter Road.
