Kyle Jordan Thompson, 19, of Panama City, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010, one day before his 20th birthday. He was born April 25, 1990 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident of Panama City. He loved and was active on the American Legion Post and the Southeastern Connection softball teams; he loved fishing and his dog, Gene. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Weston. He is survived by his father, Tommy Thompson and wife, Leanne of Defuniak Springs, FL; mother, Jan Weston Spring of Panama City; 3 brothers, Tyson Franklin Thompson, Benjamin Lee Thompson, Jacob Durham Tillis; niece, Rosalina Maria Thompson, grandparents, Barbara Weston, Tommy & Yvonne Thompson, Jack & Diane Olwick; aunts & uncles, Nan & Andy McQuagge, Lynne & Phillip Mincey, Beth Thompson, Larry & Lori Thompson, Mark & Melissa Olwick; cousins, Jonathan & Deanna McQuagge, Drew & Amanda McQuagge, Madi McQuagge, Nicole & Dustin Carter, Phillip Mincey, Jennifer & Justin Braden, Caylee & Matt DeFries, Larry Thompson, Kara Thompson, Mark Thompson, Will Thompson, Taylor Olwick and Jonah Olwick; second cousins Kelli Grace McQuagge, Joby & Judson Braden, Mason DeFries and numerous extended family and special friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Panama City. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
