KIMBERLY "KIM" ANN RICH

Kimberly "Kim" Ann Rich, 49, of Lynn Haven, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013. She was born August 22, 1964 in Port St. Joe, Florida. She graduated from Port St. Joe High School.
Kim was a very successful and respected horseman. She was a fierce competitor and a loving caregiver to all animals. So blessed was any animal to be under her care. It was something to witness her in the midst of her passion, passing on her knowledge to her students and reveling in their successes.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Helen Kirkland Moore. She is survived by her son, Chris Daniels (Betsy); two grandchildren, Mason Pierce Daniels, Grace Hampton Daniels; father, David M. Rich, Sr. (Betty); grandmother, Janelle Kirkland; brother, Mitch Rich and his children, Kyle Rich, Kayla Rich, Stetson Rich; brother, David Christopher Rich and his son, David Michael Rich; sister, Amy Rich Kirkus (Jason) and their son, Tyler Matthew Kirkus; and her companion, Joe Mackenzie. She left behind many friends and loved ones, especially her best friend, Jan Pittman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CDT on Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 3 p.m. CDT on Wednesday at Holly Hill Cemetery, Port St. Joe, Florida. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. CDT. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Kimberly Rich.
