Kenneth "Ray" Kennington, age 62, died of cancer Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 in his home. Mr. Kennington was born in Panama City, Fl. on July 3, 1946. He moved to Mulberry, Fl. in 2003 from Orlando. He was an electrician. He retired from Disney World after 20 years of service. He also worked for Home Depot for 13 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy (Vietnam), attended First Baptist Church in Mulberry, and was a member of Parker Masonic Lodge #142 Panama City. He is survived by his mother Jennie Kennington, Panama City, wife Denise Kennington, Mulberry, FL, son Kenneth C. Kennington, Mulberry, Fl., daughter Tracy Norman (David) Mt. Plymouth, FL, sister Linda Heltman (Jerry) Panama City, niece Vicky Rozier (Dennis), Panama City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m.
