Captain Kenneth E. Frederickson's final voyage ended on Saturday December 17 ^th .  Born March 15th, 1959, he graduated Lexington High School in 1977, and joined the Navy where he served nine and a half years. He attained a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama and worked for the Department of the Navy in Panama City Beach, and then General Dynamics.

He is preceded in death by his father Oscar Frederickson, and his mother Margaret Henney Frederickson from Ohio, and his sister Carrie George of Florida. He leaved behind his daughter Lindsey Werts of Florida, and his sister Chris Fraley of Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews and his dog Marley.

Ken was a deeply spiritual man that loved Jesus and was a proud member of Eastgate, He was loved by all who met him for his kindness and helpful nature. He was an active member of A.A. where he mentored and supported countless others. But his heart belonged to the sea and he was happiest sailing and diving.

A celebration of his life will be held at 5pm on Thursday December 22 ^nd at Eastgate Christian Fellowship. Located at 7145 West Highway 98, Panama City Beach, FL 32407. Pastor Rob Woodrum will be officiating.
